We provided sound design, editing, Foley, and final mixing for Samuel Smith’s award-winning short film MAD LORD Samurai of 1000 Deaths.
Objectives:

- Collaborated with Japan-based field recordists to capture authentic atmospheres and weapon sounds.
- Sourced and created accurate, period-specific Japanese weapon sound effects.
- Used experimental techniques to craft unsettling sounds, enhancing the film's theme of madness.
The final soundtrack deeply immersed viewers, leaving them questioning their own perceptions—exactly as the director intended.
