344 Audio have been working on an upcoming Star Wars Fan Film entitled Wrath of the Empire which has proved an interesting challenge of discovery. We spent lots of time studying the original techniques used by Ben Burtt and layered them with fresh audio content in the mix. Take a look at the video below, where we go through some of the key ideas we have for Darth Vader's voice and the trailer's Sound Design.

The Film takes place between Solo and Rogue One and therefore uses a variety of influences from those films.  

"Emperor Palpatine sends Grand Admiral Thrawn to assist Darth Vader in the hunt for the Jedi, who posses the memory crystal detailing the locations of Jedi assisting rebel cells across the galaxy.

As part of this year's growth strategy going forward, we are happy to announce three new available roles at 344 Audio that we would like to fill. Please read the requirements very carefully, as all applicants will have to demonstrate their relevant knowledge before being considered.

Student Audio Craftsman (Internship)

We are looking for a success driven, like-minded individual, to join us in our facility, contributing to both the technical and creative aspects of the Sound Design process.

The applicant must be:

• Currently enrolled in a higher education course relating to Sound Design/Audio Post -Production.
• Based in or around Manchester.
• A great communicator who is feedback focussed.
• Able to operate Pro Tools at an intermediate level.

Junior Audio Craftsman (Self Employed)

We are looking for a creative/technical, like-minded individual, to join us in our facility, contributing to both the technical and creative aspects of the Sound Design process.

The applicant must be:

• A graduate of a course relating to Audio Post Production with a heavy focus on Pro Tools workflows.
• Based in or around Manchester.
• A great communicator who is feedback focussed.
• Able to operate Pro Tools at an advanced level.

Client Liaison (Self employed)

We are looking for an efficient, like-minded individual, to join us in our facility, contributing to client related services.

The applicant must be:

• Intermediate user of the Google suite of applications.
• Based in or around Manchester.
• Detail oriented and friendly.
• Able to work remotely/independently when needed.
