Work Overview:
344 Audio provided performance-driven Foley, character movement, and additional sound design for the upcoming action RPG Arknights: Endfield, developed by Hypergryph. The work covered gameplay assets and cinematic cutscenes, helping shape the sonic identity of characters, enemies, and environmental interactions across the game.
Objectives:
- Create authentic, performance-led Foley that enhances immersion during gameplay.
- Balance grounded realism with the heightened, stylised fantasy aesthetic of the Arknights universe.
- Deliver a large volume of bespoke, implementation-ready assets through a collaborative international workflow.
Approach:
- Built custom Foley surfaces and recorded performance-driven character movement to capture authentic weight, texture, and variation.
- Designed layered sounds that combined real-world materials with stylised metallic and fantasy elements to match the game’s visual identity.
- Collaborated closely with Hypergryph’s team in China, delivering organised Pro Tools sessions and maintaining an efficient remote workflow to support large-scale asset creation.
The final result was a cohesive Foley and sound effects foundation that bridges gameplay and cinematic moments, helping bring the world of Arknights: Endfield to life with detail, scale, and character.
