We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of our latest sound effects library Practical Doors.
As this name suggests, Practical Doors focuses on door effects such as open/close, latches, handles, keys, knocks, and locks. Let's face it, no one wants to spend ages trawling through door samples to find one that fits, so our aim with this library is to provide audio professionals with a reliable bank of natural-sounding door effects that can be dropped straight into your timeline with no fuss.
During the recording session for this library, we focused on preserving the natural qualities of each door, and have used minimal processing or enhancement. We have also included multiple perspectives (Near, Mid, Far) to give you maximum options when selecting the right sound.
In addition to the natural door effects, we have also created a “Designed” Folder where you can find sounds of a more heavily manipulated nature.
We really enjoyed the challenge of creating this library. Who knew doors could be so much fun!
