Founded in Manchester in 2012, 344 Audio was built on the same industrial spirit that shaped the city itself. Inspired by a deep respect for storytelling and determined to prove that world-class sound design could be forged outside traditional industry centres, founder Alex Gregson established a boutique studio with uncompromising standards. More than a decade later, 344 Audio is an award-winning audio post-production company crafting sound for major films, television and games worldwide.
From that foundation, the wider 344 ecosystem was developed to serve distinct areas of the industry while maintaining the same creative standards.
344 Audio is the parent brand and creative core of the ecosystem. The studio provides full-service audio post-production across film, television and games, including sound design, audio editing, Foley, ADR, re-recording mixing, game audio and original music scoring.
Built on craftsmanship, integrity and collaboration, 344 Audio works with productions ranging from high-end independent projects to major international releases, delivering meticulous, story-driven sound.

344 Academy is the education arm of 344 Audio, created to provide a direct pathway into professional audio post-production.
Designed for aspiring sound designers and audio professionals, courses are delivered live in person at 344 Audio’s Manchester studio or remotely online. The focus is practical capability over academic theory, equipping students with portfolio-ready work, mentoring and real production insight.

344 SFX is the sound library division of 344 Audio, created by working professionals for working professionals.
Each collection is curated, handcrafted and recorded to the same standards applied to major productions. Designed for sound designers, filmmakers, game developers and content creators, 344 SFX provides distinctive, production-ready sound effects that cannot be found in mass-market libraries.

Together, these three brands extend the same heritage of craftsmanship and creative individuality across services, education and professional sound libraries. Each division serves a specific purpose, all rooted in the foundation established by 344 Audio.
