Do you dream in waveforms? Love metadata, but also get a kick from creating chaos with a field recorder? We're looking for an SFX Store Operator to help us build, launch, and grow the 344 Audio Sound Store — a hybrid role blending creativity, precision, and strategy.
Your mission:
- Create original SFX – record, edit, and master professional-grade sound effects across ambiences, one-shots, and game audio
- Distribute like a pro – prep libraries for upload, apply metadata, and handle delivery across platforms like Soundly, A Sound Effect, Webflow, and more
- Market the magic – craft artwork, write product descriptions, and build demo content that sells
You’ll need:
- Intermediate+ Pro Tools knowledge – sessions, structure, edits, commits, batch exports
- Experience with sound effects editing, field recording, foley, and metadata tagging
- Strong organisational skills — you’ll be managing files, folder structures, and distribution checklists
- A creative mindset — plus a commercial one (you’ll help shape how our products perform)
- Bonus if you’ve touched tools like Photoshop, Audacity, Webflow, or Soundly’s backend
This role sits at the crossroads of artistry and commerce. One day you're sculpting a dragon roar from rocks and metal; the next, you're exporting CSVs, signing licensing docs, or refining the artwork for Vol. 12 of “Weapon Impacts.”
This job is not for:
- People who fear spreadsheets
- Sound designers who only want to create and never distribute
- Folks allergic to file naming conventions
This job is for:
- Detail-obsessed creatives
- Audio weirdos with business brains
- People who love the idea of turning raw sound into revenue
You’ll be joining an eccentric, tight-knit team shaping the future of independent SFX creation. Let’s make some noise — and make it sell.
